Diane C. Williams
President
The Williams Companies

Diane C. Williams was born and raised in Southern California and attended UC Long Beach. She began her career in finance and administration, most notably as vice president of a large pension administration firm. In 1985 she moved to the desert and became involved with the construction industry. Today she owns and serves as president of both Desert Commercial Concrete and Milmark Painting, both based in Indio and each the largest specialty contracting firm of its kind headquartered in the Coachella Valley.

Diane has long been involved in local industry associations and the community. She was 2007 President of the Desert Contractors Association as well as the 2008 President of Building Horizons, the Coachella Valley’s construction industry vocational program for young people. Diane and her husband Don reside in Indian Wells.


Keith Burleigh
Vice President of Sales
Milmark Painting, Inc.

Keith Burleigh oversees sales and marketing activities for the largest painting contracting firm in the Coachella Valley.

A 15-year veteran of the paint industry, Burleigh has worked as a manufacturers’ representative for Sherwin Williams, Vista Paint, and ICI Paint at locations throughout the Inland Empire. He is a specialist in high performance coatings and the paint products best suited to the desert climate.

He started with Milmark Painting in 2004 and served as Director of Sales for almost three years.

Burleigh was born in Huntington Beach and attended Orange Coast Community College. He lives in La Quinta with his wife Cari and their son Grant.


Tony Contreras
Vice President of Construction
Milmark Painting, Inc.

Tony Contreras directs field operations for Milmark Painting and supervises the activities of the company’s approximately 150 field employees.

Born in Riverside, his more than 20 years of painting contractor experience began in 1986 when he completed a union trade apprenticeship program in Laguna Niguel while working for Ross Painting in Corona. He moved to the Coachella Valley in 1990 to work for Bruce Newell Painting.

Contreras was recruited to work for Milmark Painting in 1993. Beginning as a brush hand, he was promoted to the positions of Foreman and Superintendent while attending various training programs over the years. He was promoted to Projects Manager in 2004 and to his current position in 2007.

He lives in La Quinta with his wife Jennifer and their two sons Everett and Ryan.


Jennifer Contreras
Corporate Controller

Jennifer Contreras oversees the accounting and administrative departments of both Milmark Painting, Inc. and Desert Commercial Concrete.

 

Jennifer joined The Williams Companies once and for all in 2000, having been a part of the team for various years during the 1990’s. She ventured out into other accounting arenas, gaining experience and knowledge, then returned to the desert to find a permanent home both personally and professionally.

 

Jennifer lives in La Quinta with her husband Tony and their two sons Everett and Ryan.

Beto Maldonado
Superintendent
Desert Commercial Concrete

Jose 'Beto' Maldonado oversees our field operation and is responsible for ensuring that we meet our customers schedules while maintaining the highest level of quality and safety. Beto was managing concrete construction crews for many years actually getting his start as a union laborer for a large concrete contractor over twenty years ago. Since then he has worked in all facets of concrete construction and knows the answer to most all of the challenges that arise in the course of even the most difficult job.
